I don't see the problem you are pointing to.? I am not claiming that the internal experience of the power of deductive logic is necessary for all transition between stages.? On the other hand, I continue to favor the idea?that phenomenology may be crucial to the activity of many non-human animals--the internal experience of sight and/or smell may be crucial to many animals' hunting activities--in contrast to what we can achieve currently with robots. |
