Exactly!

And this generalises to all problems in the sciences, arts, and common experience too with the added twist that the "degrees of freedom" are greater in the latter pair than in the first - though even there, as you have just brought out, these "degrees" are open. I think it was in a conversation with Gruber, who had expressed an interest in studying Creativity, that Piaget advised him not to do so because "tout y touche" - everything there is connected.
