Some might have tried to assert that their were the only "true" heirs of Piaget and that they were in charge of maintaining the heritage (i.e. Piaget’s theory and its interpretations and suggestions) in an "orthodox" state. Of course, fortunately, this was impossible to do. Piaget’s work is tremendously rich. At different stages of his own life, Piaget has produced different theoretical insights (that sometimes contradict each other), and they have been understood in quite different ways. The consequences of this is the existence of many different lines of research that are inspired by Piaget. This is a nice book that reflects this diversity: E. Mart?& C. Rodríguez (Eds.), After Piaget . New Brunswick, London: Transaction Publishers. Best greetings |
