| I would give them the Algebra series of task that starts at the early concrete and goes through the metasystematic stage so they would have?concrete examples in the math domain.?Then I would teach them the two basic axioms of Piagetian stage, that higher stage tasks are defined in terms of the next lower stage actions and that they organize them.?They could then apply that to the examples.?We have the series.?The r for predicting difficultly is .95.?So they might be impressed with how well it accounts for development and individual differences. |
