Here is a scenario for a workshop: You might tell a few well-chosen stories that capture the lived experience of long term impact, preferably from your own personal lives as instructors. Then ask them to think individually for a moment, and then pair/share examples of long term impact in their own lives. A few groups could share back to the large group, and through an interpreter, you could diagram visually and expound on those examples showing how long term impact manifests.?Having done that work, you could then, in larger groups, ask them to brainstorm ways that the notion of long-term impact applies to the particular concerns that you are hoping to address, and have them "map out"/diagram/visually represent those impacts on big sheets of paper that could be shared in the whole group.
You could then overlay your own 'expert' opinion. Follow by asking them as a whole group what kinds of preventive actions might be useful (inserting your own afterward) and then with what kinds of impediments there are to taking those types of actions.

Hope you have a phenomenal learning experience.?&AuthorName=Bill Shorr
