It simply means that the knowledge acquired through a specific Piagetian mental structure is transposed to a superior mental structure, given the possibility for more advanced knowledge.?How can lower stage knowledge be transferred to a higher stage unless that higher stage already exists??Is the claim that the higher stage structure already exists and the refection in on the lower stage knowledge?
