I am wondering if any of you have an opinion and relevant research on the following question.?Would you expect a child's IQ score to increase when they progress into a higher stage of thinking maturity within Piaget's theory (i.e. move from say being a Pre-Operational thinker to a Concrete operational thinker)??In the book "Thinking with the Brain in Mind" the author states that he thinks I.Q. scores can be increased by up to 20 points with the right kind of intervention. |
