When I wrote my master dissertation in psychology 2001-2002 about Kohlberg and his critics (in Swedish) I found (since I read every abstract containing "Kohlberg*" in databases such as PsychInfo, ERIC etc) some studies using Kohlberg's stages to understand economic decision-making. Below are four articles I used in my work and may be good examples (but I'm not sure if these really contain what you are looking for); I have the abstracts if you want them as well (write to mikael.krall@telia.com). Beck, K., Heinrichs, K., Minnameier, G., & Parche-Kawik, K. (1999). Homogeneity of moral judgement? ?Apprentices solving business conflicts. Journal of Moral Education, 28(4), 429-443. Jones, T.M., & Ryan, L.V. (1997). The link between ethical judgment and action in organizations: A moral approbation approach. Organization Science, 8(6), 663-680. Mason, E.S. & P.E. Mudrack (1997). Do complex moral reasoners experience greater ethical work conflict? Journal of Business Ethics, 16, 1311-1318. Snell, R.S. (1996). Complementing Kohlberg: Mapping the ethical reasoning used by managers for their own dilemma cases. Human Relations, 49(1), 23-49. |
