The Emerging Scholars Committee has been hard at work developing plans to help find and nurture the next generation of JPS leaders.?One project that received unanimous support in our members?survey was to create and share formatted bibliographies of emerging scholarship.

????????*Have you given a talk??Published a paper?*
????????*Send us an APA-formatted citation and abstract!*

Our hope is that this will help disseminate the work of emerging scholars (JPS members who fit somewhere among the categories from “grad student?to “pre-tenure faculty?, to facilitate and strengthen the connections between emerging scholars and senior scholars.?So, if you’ve recently given a talk at an academic conference or published a paper in a peer-reviewed journal, please send an APA-formatted citation, abstract, and your affiliation to Jeremy Burman: jtburman@yorku.ca.?If you have a website, so much the better—include a link too.

For this first list, we are looking for articles published and talks presented in the last two calendar years (2009-2010).?Please also include articles in press, then let us know when they get published.?We’ll include the updated information in the next list.

Also, finally, if you are an emerging scholar and you are interested in joining our new listserv, please send a note to Matt Gingo: mg@berkeley.edu
