5月13日Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)公布了最新的大学排名。香港大学再次蝉联第一（全世界总排名第24位）。该大学排名是世界上有影响的排名榜之一。居亚洲前三甲的另两所大学是香港科技大学（第35位）和新加坡国立大学（第46位）。中国大陆进入前100名的有两所，分别为清华大学全球排第49位、北京大学第52位。

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is consistently ranked among the top universities in major ranking exercises around the world.

The latest one is the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asian University Rankings, which were announced on May 13, 2010.

HKU ranked No. 1 again in Asia.

The Asian University Rankings have been compiled by QS using parameters that are considered to be more appropriate to institutions in this region. These parameters include assessing a combination of regional and international factors, such as regional peer and recruiter reviews, the international research capabilities of the institution, teaching quality, internationalization of the staff and students, and overseas exchange opportunities for students, among others.
