CALL FOR PAPERS
The main objective of Fifth International Internet Education Conference is meeting the networking needs of the international e-learning and distance education providers. The annual ICT-Learn conference is the key networking venue for strategists and practitioners from Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and all over the world. The ICT-Learn 2006 International Conference will feature the issues we face and the strategies we use to meet the challenges of teaching and learning in a variety of circumstances. The theme accommodates the diverse situations in which we exercise our respective mandates.
Conference Themes Transforming Traditional Universities with (Information and Communications Technology) E-Learning: Design, Development and Delivery Open Source, Open Content and Online Learning Online Collaboration, Moderation, Teaching and Learning Future Technologies and their Applications Quality Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation of E-Learning Understanding E-Learning and its Role in Society Policy Issues and Large Scale Take-up of E-Learning E-Learning: Design, Development and Delivery
Conference format Submissions should be made in the following formats: 1. ICT-Learning 2006 is an International conference, Therefore; the official language of the conference is English. 2. Individual research papers Individual research papers should be of between five and seven pages in length. Peer reviewed and accepted papers will be given 30 minutes each for presentation and discussion time. 3. Multiple-paper sessions Multiple-paper sessions are events of three to four presentations of research papers on a particular subject or theme. Successful symposia will be allocated one hour slots in the program. 4. Practice Cases Practice Cases are short contributions of no more than 3 pages describing a particular development or providing an insight into developing practice. Around 30 minutes will be made available at the conference for presentation and discussion.
5. Product Demonstrations Developers of educational software are invited to demonstrate their product. Applicants will be asked for 2 pages extended-abstract describing their product. Around 30 minutes will be made available at the conference for presentation and discussion.

The above-mentioned fees do not include Pre-Conference Workshops or accommodation. The fees include conference materials, a conference-CD, coffee breaks and luncheons on September 11 and 12. Payment should be made as indicated on the Application Form. Group rates available upon request.
